Currently, I am attending UCI and I will be receiving my Single Subject teaching credentials and Bachelors of Science in Mathematics this coming July. At the moment, I am finishing up student teaching as a Algebra 2 instructor at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove.
My teaching journey started with the positive experiences that I had with my teachers in high school and eventually in college. I saw how much work and effort they put into their jobs and how they took the extra mile to get to know their students. From there, I developed an interest in wanting to purse teaching. Upon entering UCI, I enrolled in the Cal Teach Program and this is where I met other teaching candidates that have become my lifelong friends.
Together, we share our thoughts and feelings about each of our own individual journeys. These people have inspired me to become a better teacher, mentor, and person.
