Trying a new student discourse strategy: Fly Away
- Students first think-pair-share with their original partners, and then "fly away" to
another group to share their findings
- This strategy is incorporated with the use of technology to enhance student learning
Students discover new vocabulary through the use of visuals and inquiry based learning. Students discuss possibly definitions and determine the definition that meets all the specific criteria.
Students develop theorems based on the data they have collected and they even get to make up their own unique names for their theorems!
